P.E.T. PROJECT:  Have you seen the colorful display in the Church Office of wood tulips and birds?  The PET project has now provided material for over 150 PETS and are currently selling the left over scrap wood as house and lawn decorations.  By purchasing one of these decorations you will be helping to provide someone wil hand-powered transportation.

Tabletop birds can be purchased in the Humboldt Center's Office

This project is a worldwide outreach mission.  We have been supplying the materials for the PET (Personal Energy Transportation), a three wheel hand-powered tricycle with all-terrain wheels.  The PET's are for people worldwide who have limited use of their legs.  This tricycle will go over rough terrain where wheelchairs will not.  Our men have raised money and cut quality lumber for the body of the tricycles.  We have supplied the lumber for over 80 PETs.  Click here to read the article that appeared in The Humboldt Newspaper.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY:

When:  Every Tuesday Afternoon

Time:  1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Location:  Humboldt Center Lounge

Each Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Lounge at the Humboldt Center, a group of men meet for coffee and study the Serendipity Bible.  Several verses pertaining to a topic are read and then questions are answered for discussion.  The study lasts for one hour.  In this study there is no need to know how to find the books of the Bible; no Bible verses need to be memorized; and no knowledge of the Bible is necessary.  Come and try it anytime.

HANDY HELPER:  Our members help keep up and fix small items around the house for church members.  Sometimes they will just offer a second opinion of what needs to be done.  There is no charge for this service, but donations are welcome.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR GRADUATING SENIORS:
Last year we were able to give $1,600. worth of scholarships.  Money raised for this project comes from memorial gifts and our Pancake Breakfast the first day of Sunday School.
