The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.

 

 

REPORTS OF COMMITTEES:

• School Kits - Marilyn said 70 bags are done - more to sew
• Heath Kits - Carolyn said towels are coming in - message in bulletin needs for May are toothbrushes and dollars for toothpaste purchase.

 

MISSION FAIR - APRIL 19^TH/20^TH

Hope to have booths for all mission activities and people there to talk to visitors and answer questions. 

Work assignments:  Saturday - Carolyn; Sunday - Rose/Mack @ Humboldt; Kim at Gilmore City.  Set-up 10:00 a.m. for Mission Fair. 

 

MISSION TRIPS

Trip to Greensburg, KS Aug. 3-6 is still planned.  Mission Trip Fund has $1,134.24. Will have a booth at the Mission Fair where people can sign up to take money and increase it for our mission trips.  Another Habitat for Humanity house will be built in Humboldt, with the ground-breaking ceremony April 20^th, 2:00 p.m.

 

NOTES:

• Two months of apportionments have been paid with 10% Sunday more will come in.  Interest from Estate money may be available to the Mission Committee, for the Rainbow Covenant.  We may be able to support another missionary.  Matching funds with interest money is a possibility.
• Quilters are now called Mission Workshop- they don't quilt - only tie quilts. 
• Mission profiles of purpose/time/skills were finished for the Mission Fair.
